Medium deep golden colour, quite fine mousse, indicating a certain maturity. Expressive nose here, quite a lot in there; yellow fruit, like apricot, fresh pineapple, orange blossom, saffron. It is also displaying some maturity, some hints of complexity, thanks to the lees contact. Nice creaminess on the palate, well balanced in I would say a medium weight style. I feel more of the slightly Chardonnay character here, with the yellow fruit, the stone fruit, some hints of minerality. Good, but I would say integrated freshness, it has some age to it for sure. Nice creaminess, beyond the fruitiness, I think there is a nice nuttiness to this one; like hazelnut, almond paste. Quite persistent keeps lingering on the finish, which is really long. It keeps lingering. All along I think this is a wine that has found its harmony and a good peak of drinkability. It will certainly last much longer, but I think it is offering today a nice level of fruitiness, a nice level of freshness and a certain level of complexity and harmony as well. So a nice drink today.
