Château Haut Macô – Cuvée Jean Bernard 2016 – Côtes de Bourg

Deep ruby red colour. Aromas of new oak, dry spices, plum and red berries. Quite dense and tight palate, still youthful with marked tannin and wood notes, nice red fruit underneath with good length, yet a tight example needing further cellaring to soften.
