Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Spicy and floral nose with ripe dark fruit, blackberry, pepper, clove and some meaty notes with fine oak. The palate is dense, still youthful but good extraction and ripe tannin, peppery dark fruit, blackberry and a long weighty finish, good already but should gain nuance from further ageing.
