Medium deep ruby red colour. Nice intensity on the nose, some new oak, plenty of gingerbread spice with ripe red currant, raspberry and plum. Medium weight on the palate with high flavour intensity, lightly roasted red pinot-fruit with a bold spiciness and a long chewy finish. Youthful but rather fine and grainy tannin, should evolve nicely, drink from next year.
