Dark ruby red hue. The nose combines a sweet spiciness with a hint of oak and vanilla, ripe dark fruit, plum, cherry and cassis. The palate is structured, still a bit youthful and tannic but good stuffing, dense fruit and a long finish. Needs another year to soften and should come together well.
