Viña La Rosa – Don Reca Limited Release 2013 – Cachapoal Valley

Medium to deep ruby-red nuance. Quite discreet nose at first needs some air to open up. Then it is displaying red and dark fruit, plum, dark cherry. Some notes of wood, like dry wood, tobacco leaf. So medium weight with a quite youthful texture. Still with some present tannin on the finish. Red and dark berries; like freshly crushed berries with a gentle pepperiness. There is a slight hint of oak on the finish. Medium towards long aftertaste. Still a bit youthful and restrained. It should develop within the coming two to three years.
