Medium-deep ruby, still youthful with hints of purple-blue. Youthful and fresh nose, very primary fruit there, almost like grapes coming off of the press, crushed berries and plum; there’s a fine spiciness to it as well, some ground white pepper, cinnamon, ginger. Attractive palate, in a lighter style. Quite loose and supple structure, not a lot of tannins to talk about, they’re very finely grained, and there’s a nice spiciness here, with that pepper, that ginger. Very digest and drinkable style. Not a lot of weight, but nice and rounded, supple juicy red fruit, fine spices, and quite persistent finish, with those nice spicy flavours on the finish. Very juicy and drinkable style of this Burgundian lighter style, still with character and finish on the length. I like it.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
