Dark ruby-red core, still a quite youthful colour. Nose starts out discreetly, indicating some wood; a hint of vanilla, butter, butterscotch, with sweet red fruit. Just like the colour and the nose appear quite young, the taste is still youthful, with a very dense core of fruit, still youthful tannins, we still feel some oak on the palate. There’s a good concentration and density, but still quite young and unresolved. Acidity is still pretty marked on the palate, so is the oak, it has good density, it has a very long finish, and I think it has all the qualities it needs to evolve, but I feel a bit young and restrained at this moment, so I’d like to come back to it.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
