Medium deep ruby red, with a slightly lighter rim, a slightly watery rim, so there’s some evolution here. The nose is rather sweet, offering sweet red fruit, vanilla, discreet wood. Palate has medium weight, with rather sweet fruit, still marked by high acidity. I would rather say that the finely grained tannins and the acidity give a good sense of freshness on the palate. The fruit is quite sweet, with red plum, red berries, some herbal notes there like garrigue, or bay leaf, thyme, other French herbs. Good emphasis on fruit, no evident oak, juicy, rounded, with a fine drinkability.
