Dark ruby red colour. Some new oak, ripe red fruit, Kirsch, plum and tobacco notes. The palate is full and dense with a fresh acidity, ripe red fruit, sour cherry, some pepper and wild herbal notes, good grip and length, still youthful with slightly marked oak – it has a lot more to give so keep for another 1-2 years in the cellar.
