So obviously a very youthful wine, still with a quite inky and impenetrable colour. The nose is displaying a good level of ripeness there; with a lot of inky dark berries, dark plum, spicy notes, reminiscent of like white pepper, plum. A slight amount of aromatic herbs as well, adding a touch of freshness to that ripe fruit. Good density on the palate, still appearing rather youthful. I find it pretty rather attractive, as it is offering that nice mixture of mostly dark fruit. There’s a well-kept acidity, this obviously feels like a quite warm climate style, but I think it is well balanced in terms of freshness. Youthful, but ripe tannins, still a bit tight on the finish, but doubtless a wine with potential for further development. On the finish I like that combination of that juicy dark fruit, but then we have that little hint of that herbal spiciness, like bay leaf, sage and some pepperiness and a quite long finish.
