Red wine with a medium deep colour, medium deep ruby-red I would say here. A slight development on the rim. Quite discreet nose here with a moderate ripeness. This one I pick up rather red berry fruit, like raspberries, red currant and cherry, but quite sweet and perfumed. Actually resembling more Pinot Noir style with that sweet red fruit, slight hint of herbal spiciness and pepper and no evident oak. Quite polished palate, I would talk about medium weight. Quite classic and restrained style, nothing massive, not a blockbuster style but more polished. I think it has a good development here. I think it has a few years to it. I like it for this attractive and sweet red fruit. There are layers there. There are fine spices, dried spices like clove and pepper and then those sweet raspberries, apricot. So to summarize it, I would say it is a good length it keeps lingering. Quite well nuanced, with an approaching complexity. Medium weight, but good flavour intensity. More in what I would call a supple and Burgundian style.
