Moderately deep colour, ruby-red core. Pure nose with a certain evolution. Showing more quite sweet red fruit like cherry, plum. Almost some stewed berries or jammed berries. Not a lot of oak and a quite mild spiciness. Medium weight on the palate. It is showing some evolution. There is still a quite tannic backbone there. On top of that, we have those red berry fruit. Gentle hint of oak. Some herbal, herbaceous notes there, some dried herbs. Gentle spiciness and a medium towards long finish. I think this wine has gotten a little bit of age. There is still a tannic presence on the palate. I would call it more of a traditional style. It should drink well, particularly with rustic food, or quite heavy dish. None of the less a good wine for its style.
