Developed ruby-red colour, with a quite light rim and high viscosity. The nose indicates a high ripeness very sweet red berries, dried cherry. Some leather and dried spices. Palate is quite full-bodied. There is a high level of tannin there. Quite grippy, creating a slight dry sensation on the palate. The acidity also feels quite elevated. In combination with the fruit which is almost like cooked fruit, or dried fruit, dried red cherry. Feels like a style where the fruit is drying out a little bit. At the same time, it feels like the tannins need some more time to round off the edges. I am not sure how it will develop and for how long.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
