Inky dark purple colour. Intense nose of finely roasted oak, espresso, cassis, crushed berries and cigar box. The palate has a high concentration and good proportions, fresh and grainy tannin, a fresh acidity, layers of finely spicy dark fruit, tobacco and crème de cassis, and a very long finish. Ripe and intense, but with freshness and equilibrium, nice layers, I like this.
