White wine with a medium intense colour intensity here. There is a slight tinge of pink in this one. Almost like a beige colour. Nose is quite round and fruity. Rather sweet, there are some notes of honey, wax, yellow plum, ripe stone fruit, with a floral component. Palate is quite full. There is a slight phenolic presence there. A gentle bitterness in the shape of lemon zest, lime zest. There are some notes of almond, chopped almond, so a quite a lot of dry extract in this one. High acidity. There is probably a slight hint of oak in the background, but not too noticeable. So I would say more of a Burgundian style, but with a presence of more phenolics. Quite long finish. A wine I would call, probably thanks to its youth, something that should develop and gain some more roundness. Not really a style I know, but quite interesting wine. So put it back in your cellar and come back to it in the coming two to three years.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
