White wine, medium-deep, rather on the light golden side, still looks youthful with a slight green tinge in there. Very expressive nose, quite ripe and generous with notes of yellow fruit. There might be a hint of oak here; something resembles a hint of cedar wood, some nutty notes like mixed nuts, like hazelnuts, walnut, yellow fruit, and some floral hints. It feels like a quite aromatic variety. The palate is quite full-bodied; it’s certain that this has been oak-aged, the oak is much more present on the palate than on the nose. It’s showing some hints of vanilla, some roasted notes as well, with a slight sensation of sweetness as well, we have quite tropical yellow fruitiness here. It feels like a quite ripe style from a warmer climate, because it’s quite elevated in terms of alcohol as well, but the alcohol is well-integrated, and acidity is medium-high. It’s a quite rich and unctuous style, with a good weight, quite full, and a medium towards long finish. This is probably a wine that would need some time, I would like the oak to be more integrated, it’s a bit present now on the palate and on the finish. Otherwise a very interesting lush, ripe and tropical style.
