Medium deep ruby-red colour, slight evolution on the rim. I like the nose. It is displaying quite a lot of ripeness, the fruit is very much on the sweet side. I would say a combination of red and dark fruits. Dark plum, cassis and a gentle oakiness. Good grip on the palate. I think the palate feels a bit more restrained than the nose, in a positive sense. So really bright acidity. Finely integrated tannins and elegant red fruit. Red cherry, plum, particularly with a mild spiciness, like clove, ginger. Really long and lingering on the finish. If there is any oak, it is nicely integrated. So much more of a fruity expression. However with a certain maturity and an approaching complexity I would say. Good.
