Intense inky core with a lighter rim. Intense, mature and complex nose with modern dark fruit finely layered with some new oak, sweet spices, tobacco and crushed dark berries. The palate is dense and ample with high concentration, high extract but just starting to melt together it feels, persistent and long finish with layers of spicy dark fruit. Ambitious and well-made with a good level of development and complexity today.
