Stobi Winery – Verdot Private Reserve 2013 – Macedonia

Deep dark inky core and a lighter rim. The nose combines some herbal and grassy notes with dark berries, cassis, plum and some new oak. The palate is still youthful and restrained with firm tannin, good grip and nice fruit but a bit dry on the finish needing time to soften.
