Not a lot of colour intensity here, a slightly green hue and pale straw colour. Very intense nose. This is a Restina style, which can perhaps be a bit tricky for a normal consumer. I like it because it is a very traditional style. So obviously, we have a lot of balsamic resiny notes here. Also a good degree of fruit here, like pear, quince, with lemon. So modern vinification, modern interpretation of the Restina style. Good grip on the palate, good bite. There is a slight hint of bitterness, with hints of lemon zest, youthful and restrained fruit, in the direction of green apple and quince. No oak what so ever. No oxidation for sure which was sometimes marked in the old school Restina. Quite persistent here, and certainly flavour intense as the resin notes are hanging out. Fine, fresh and vibrant example of this very traditional style. I am probably not the most capable in the world of judging this style but I think it is really nicely made and certainly has a lot of personality and character.
