Quite dense core here. Dark ruby but nothing blue and purple, so it probably has some evolution. Intense nose, quite modern with ripe dark fruit, some new oak. Bits of vanilla, butterscotch, some spicy and peppery notes as well. Quite concentrated palate, high density here. Still with a lot of extract and tannin present. Again the oak is fairly present on the palate. With hints of butterscotch, vanilla, some roasted notes. Quite a high amount of tannin as well. Ripe fruit; like dark plum, cassis, blackberry. I think this is a wine with a fine potential thanks to its density. However, I would like to put back in the cellar for another two to three years for the tannin to settle a little. There are still quite marked on the mid-palate and on the finish.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
