Dark inky purple core. Fine young nose displaying violet, dark fruit, wild berries and some new oak. The palate is dense and weighty with high ripeness, roasted flavours, cassis and dark cherry flavours, young but moderate tannin level, a fresh backbone and a long finish. Still young with ageing potential. Oak presence should integrate from further ageing.
