Colour has a medium towards deep intensity. Still a hint of blue at the core, but starting to loose a bit of that youthful shine on the rim. Very elegant nose. I would say, more of a traditional style. This has gotten some evolution in oak, but it is not necessarily woody. There is a fine mix of elegant red fruit with some darker fruit aromas. Some very pleasant balsamic spiciness, so a lot of effervescent, a hint of tobacco, cedar wood. Very nice palate here. Really multi-layered. I like this it is quite a full bodied wine. I like the layers here, beautiful notes of ground pepper, ginger, clove. Good mix of red and dark fruit, with a fine integration of oak. Very long on the finish with notes of tobacco, cedar wood. Still youthful. I do not doubt that this will age for another fifteen to twenty years easily. It should probably open up and develop more in the coming three to four years. Tremendously good.
