Medium to deep, ruby-red colour here, showing some age at the rim. Quite intense nose here. High ripeness, slight hint of oak with sweet dark berries, like cherry and plum. Some dried spiciness like white pepper. Very generous palate here. Offering a lot of sweet fruit. Still with a quite tannic presence here, there is a lot of extract here. Still appearing a bit dry on the palate, but it should dissolve from some further ageing. Attractive fruit here. Plenty of crushed sweet berries. Some of that spiciness on the finish, like white pepper, a touch of ginger. Oak is present but quite well-integrated. It does have a quite long finish. So still what I would call a youthful example that should deserve another one to two years in the cellar to gain some more roundness.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
