Sibona – Liquore Alla Camomilla NV

Medium to deep golden colour, indicating some age, as it has a slightly green rim. Very expressive nose, very spicy. This feels like it has been infused with some herbs. Herbs and dried spices. I get some cinnamon, some nougat, nuts and also a hint of honey. The palate is sweet, quite high sweetness here, rather lushes texture offering some very nice honey notes. Now I pick up chamomile, I suppose that it is in there with some herbs. Quite nice honey sweetness there. This high sweetness is well backed up by a good bite of alcohol on the finish, in the positive sense, it adds some freshness to it. Really persistent on the finish with those herbal, chamomile flavours.
