Medium deep golden colour and high viscosity. This one indicates certainly some oak aging. Quite intense nose, I like it a lot. It has a slightly raw feeling, like with you walk in a wine cellar; you have a hint of wood there, a hint of fermented grapes, but it also has some age complexity to it, with hints of spices, some dried fruit character and some nutty notes. Good bite on the palate, it starts out quite dry, not a lot of sweetness in there with nutty notes, slight spicy. It is a warm mid-palate, so it appears slightly sweeter on the finish, even though it is a fairly dry style. Nice bite, still having that youthful grapey side, but a hint of ageing adding a bit more complexity as well. Nice.
