Medium deep, golden colour. Still with a slight hint of green. Even though the nose suggest some more maturity. I think this is a very fine ripeness with lots of stone fruit there; with juicy apricot, yellow plum, fresh pineapple. Some spicy notes of ginger and lemongrass. At the same time it really does have that stony and minerality I so much adore. In combination of this abundance of tropical fruit or ripe fruit. Very fine palate. A bit more than medium weight. So it does have a fine concentration. I mean Riesling rarely gets to the fullest spectrum of the scale. But still with a beautiful flavour intensity here. Underlined by a stony minerality. A very vital freshness but layers of juicy yellow fruit. Discreet spiciness like sweet pepper, saffron on the finish. Very long and lingering. A wine I would love to drink now, today or tomorrow, with a fine meal. Very good.
