Santos da Casa – Grande Reserva 2013 – Douro

Inky dark purple colour. Good purity on the nose, floral hints with ripe blackberry, cherry and cassis with discreet oak. The palate has a high density and concentration, very viscous and bold, yet nicely restrained by vigorous fine tannins and a juicy acidity. Long and intense finish with both power and freshness.
