Rather deep ruby red colour. Very spicy and expressive nose with fresh meat, lavender pepper and dark berries. Rather Syrah-like with a chewy and dense texture, high but ripe tannin, flavour intense with layers of pepper, bay leaf and mild spices, very nice dark fruit and a long intense finish. Highly ambitious punching above its weight. Should have great ageing potential.
