Medium deep colour intensity here with a ruby-red nuance. Some development. The nose offers some animal notes, slight hint of leather. Slight gamiest with red and dark berries, mainly plum, with sweet plum, with some peppery notes and spice box. Medium weight on the palate. Quite good gripe there. Attractive fruit, juicy red berries with plum. A little bit of that gamey spiciness but still a hint of leather, pepperiness. There is really no noticeable oak and a fairly long finish. The wine has some age and is approaching some level of complexity. Despite the gameness I really think it has a certain charm. It is not too much of it and it adds a little bit of spice and pleasure to the equation.
