Very intense dark purple/opaque colour. Intense nose, pure dark fruit, crushed blackberry, cassis, dark plum, some new oak and vanilla. Rather massive palate, still young but no hard edges, grainy tannin, notes of cassis, kirsch and crushed berries with some floral violet notes, fine spiciness, liquorice and aniseed with a long, dense finish. Slightly tannic on the finish, still needing some time.
