Medium toward deep ruby-red colour, still appearing fairly youthful. Quite discreet nose at first. Needs some air to open up. I start to pick up notes of some gentle hints of wood there, hint of vanilla, mild spices, plum, mostly red berry fruit. Palate has medium weight with quite dense fruit there; plum red berry fruit, slight herbal spiciness- fresh herbs and bay leaf. Tannins are integrated, in terms of acidity it still feels quite high so rather youthful in that sense. But overall the texture has softened and rounded nicely. Good purity of fruit, no noticeable oak on the palate, just a slight hint of vanilla on the finish and then medium towards long finish.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
