Plaimont – Saint-Martin 2014 – Pacherenc Du Vic-Bilh

White wine with a medium, deep straw colour towards light golden actually, but still youthful with a fine brightness. Very intense nose here, really honey scented here, with layers of yellow fruit, almost like a hint of pastry, sweet yellow plum, honey. Delicious palate, really sweet and warming here, with a soft and almost like a creamy texture here. Excellent sweetness, quite mellow acidity here, but it has a warmth and a gripe that still gives the sensation of freshness. Really elegant yellow fruit here, good flavour intensity, a good length. A wine that is still really young, but with this level of sweetness and concentration it should age for many years, but I find it really delicious already today.
