Medium deep ruby red colour with an aged rim. Intense and evolved nose, still with pure fruit blending red and dark berries with cassis notes, sage and mint, some tobacco and discreet wood. The palate is rather full with ripe fruit, yet a fresh backbone, aromatic herbal notes and violet, ripe but present tannin, good persistency and approaching complexity.
