Very intense colour here, the core is dark blue-purple, opaque. Still can’t see through it. It is losing some of that colour at the rim. The nose is displaying quite sweet fruit with high ripeness here. Almost liked baked fruit, some jammed berries. Dark plum and cassis. No indication of oak. There is a slight hint of herbal spiciness, like aromatic herbs and liquorice. High density on the palate. High ripeness here. It feels quite warm climate here. However, well-balanced, we feel a higher degree of alcohol. Quite sweet fruity character but I think it is underlined by fine tannin and balanced acidity. Quite long finish as well, with hints of mainly dark fruit, such as plum, cassis, those spicy notes. Yeah, an attractive wine that shows pretty well right now. A style that should, I suppose, preferably be enjoyed in its very youth. Due to that pleasant fruitiness.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
