Very dark colour, dark purple core. Intense nose. Quite modern and lush style with plenty of new oak. Some roasted and burnt notes, with high ripeness of fruit, dark, mainly blackberries, violet, dark plum, with some sweet spiciness. Palate has a high level of concentration. Quite a high extract as well. Appearing a bit tannic right now. The oak is more integrated on the palate than on the nose. It is really fruit dominating. So lush dark fruit like crushed blackberry, crushed plum, cassis, that fresh berry sensation. Yet balanced by a quite fresh acidity. There is slight sweet spiciness on the finish, so pretty persistent. A fine example with good density, good balance. I would like to keep this for another one to two years, just for the tannins to soften a little bit and the oak to settle, but it should develop quite nicely.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
