Mitravelas Estate – Old Vineyards 2014 – Nemea

Dense dark purple core. Pure nose offering floral dark fruit, dry spices, pepper, liquorice and some leathery notes. The palate is dense and chewy, full bodied with ripe dark fruit, young but ripe tannin, modest oak and extraction, intense fruitiness and a long spicy finish. Still a bit tight but certainly built for long ageing.
