Intense inky core with a lighter rim. Some evolution on the nose, ripe dark fruit, cassis, plum and cherry with tobacco, leather and a hint of roasted oak. The palate is dense and weighty with layered dark fruit, a mild spiciness, tobacco and sage notes with integrated oak a fresh backbone and a long dense finish. Drinks perfectly well but could still soften and gain complexity form further cellaring.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
