Dense inky colour a slight hint of maturity on the rim. Very fragrant nose with layers of dark fruit, cassis, blackberry, violet, some stony notes and tobacco. The palate has a high concentration with dense dark fruit, dark chocolate, grainy tannin, a fresh backbone and mild spiciness. High ripeness and intensity but certainly complex and layered with a very long and dense finish. It drinks pretty well today but should definitely develop for a long time.
