Red wine with a moderately deep ruby colour, slightly youthful purple core. Pure nose, quite aromatic with rather elegant fruit here. I lean towards the Bordeaux direction in terms of varieties, as I pick up some cassis, red currants. There is some herbal notes, but ripe herbs, aromatic herbs, dark plum. Good gripe on the palate. It is a medium weight, but with quite dense fruit. There is not really any oak present here. I don’t pick up any oak. So it is rather with this nicely balanced fruit, which is ripe, but not super ripe. There is a good level of freshness here, in terms of acidity. Tannins feel, quite rounded already. So it is a rather, nice, lush, round mouthfeel. However, with a good emphasis on freshness. Really enjoyable, cheerful, with juicy fruit, dark plum, those crushed berries. Some spicy notes there, herbal spiciness, some pepperiness on the finish. Quite a long finish, enjoyable wine, perfectly drinkable today, with a potential for another few years in the cellar.
