Quite deep and intense colour colouring the glass. So high viscosity as well. Still with a dense, purple core. The nose is quite sweet and ripe with some jammed berry fruit. A lot of spices clove, vanilla, dried cherry. Palate is quite full, with a lot of sweet fruit flavours. There is a high degree of extract and tannin as well. Quite rounded on the finish. I find the fruit being attractive for this ripe, I would say, much more warm-climate style. Nice juiciness on the finish, with a good spiciness as well. Oak is well integrated and the finish is long.
