Very dense core, dark ruby, still not a lot of evolution. Sweet nose, high ripeness of fruit, almost like jammed berries, sweet plum, mild spices, no evident oak, some balmy notes. Palate is very ripe, with a quite elevated alcohol and ripeness here, the fruit is leaning towards almost liqueur, kirsch, and stewed berries. With this we have some herbal spiciness like garrigue bayleaf, thyme, southern French herbs. Quite attractive fruit, pretty rounded on the palate; quite concentrated density of fruit, and on the finish we get more of that tannic bite that still might need some time to round off. But rather an expression of ripe fruit, I think about Grenache, this style, that sweet red fruit with those mild spices and herbs. Medium towards long finish.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
