Dense dark purple/opaque core. Intense youthful nose with roasted oak, inky dark fruit, incense, some roasted and meaty notes. The palate is very dense and grippy with layers of inky dark fruit, cassis and blackberry notes, oak is present but not dominating, young but ripe tannin, and a long and fleshy finish. Should certainly develop but already balanced in a rich and powerful style.
