Dark ruby colour with a purple core. Roasted nose, new oak, dry spices, liquorice with sweet red and dark fruit. The palate is dense and muscular with layers of crushed berries, peppery and spicy notes, well-integrated oak, a fresh backbone, young but ripe tannin, some complexity and layers on the finish with good length and persistency.
