Very intense colour here opaque core, no indication of age. Very intense nose as well, very sweet with a high ripeness here, some jammed fruit, comfiture, plum, very generous amounts of roasted oak as well. The palate is as well showing a high level of ripeness, with really sweet fruit, dark berries and also a quite high, fair level of extraction there. Sill a bit youthful with slightly austere tannin, plenty of them in there. The oak is also quite present on the taste, with some roasted burnt flavours. And on the finish, I think the tannins are really dominating, so it gets a bit dry on the finish. The fruit is appearing a bit more on the really sweet jammed fruity side. So I would say that this is still really young, there is a lot of everything in there. It should probably get a few more years to settle in a good cellar and then we should come back to it.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
