Manousakis Winery – Nostos the Journey 2014 – Crete

Dark purple colour. Fresh and youthful nose, modern dark fruit, balanced oak, notes of blackberry, cherry violet and a peppery spiciness. Very good grip on the palate, young but polished texture with ripe tannin, inky dark fruit, layered spiciness and a long finish. Well-balanced oak and freshness, really promising.
