Dense dark ruby/purple core. Intense and modern nose displaying ripe dark berries, new oak, leather and tobacco. Dense and concentrated palate, still youthful and restrained but plenty of crunchy dark fruit, cocoa bean, some smoky notes and intense fine tannin, and a packed and long finish, high concentration and extraction but starting to open now. Ambitious and modern style to keep another 1-2 years before drinking. Should develop nicely.
