Maison Christophe Pichon – Rozier 2017 – Côte Rôtie

Rather dark purple core with a ruby rim. Complex nose with fine herbal and pepper spiciness paired with wild berries, some meaty notes, smoke, tobacco and violet. Dense palate with a youthful texture, nice layers of spicy dark fruit, and a long digest finish.
