Medium deep intensity here, ruby-red with a slight hint of purple. Appearing rather youthful but loosing some colour at the rim. It needs some air to open up. Aromatically it is mixing red and dark berries. Quite sweet fruit, slight hint of confiture, with some plum, red currant, then some aromatic herbs. The palate has medium weight. Quite soft and subtle texture. Good juiciness there, with quite bright freshness. The oak is toned down, not really noticeable. So attractive juicy, red fruit, with plum, some herbal notes. A medium towards long finish. A wine still behaving, feeling quite young. I think it needs some aeration to open up a little bit more. It should definitely gain some more nuance and harmony after a few years of further cellaring.
